Zhang Shangqiuzi is a practicing lawyer at Guangdong Menghai Law Firm and serves as a visiting lecturer at the Education University of Hong Kong. She graduated from Macau University of Science and Technology with a PhD in Economic Law and has a master's degree in management education. Before working as a lawyer, Zhang Shangqiuzi worked in corporate customer management, customer due diligence, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing and financial compliance work in Macau financial institutions. Later, she participated in legal matters such as civil and commercial disputes, commercial contract review, corporate compliance, cross-border inheritance, equity investment and mergers and acquisitions in mainland law firms and Hong Kong legal service institutions, and accumulated cross-border legal practice experience involving mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Zhang Shang Qiuzi holds a professional competency certificate for senior corporate compliance officers and is employed as a professional in the third-party compliance supervision and evaluation mechanism of the companies involved in the case. She participates in corporate compliance system reviews, compliance risk investigations, rectification plan evaluations and supervision inspections. She focuses on integrating legal rules, corporate governance and risk management to assist companies in establishing enforceable compliance systems and risk prevention and control mechanisms.
In terms of cross-border commercial dispute resolution, Zhang Shangqiuzi is involved in handling contract, investment, corporate governance and property rights disputes involving different jurisdictions, and continues to pay attention to the recognition and enforcement of Hong Kong judgments in the mainland, cross-border arbitration and diversified dispute resolution mechanisms. She is currently the fourth arbitrator of the Yulin Arbitration Commission, participating in fact investigation, evidence review, dispute focus sorting and mediation work in commercial disputes.
In addition to practicing law, Zhang Shangqiuzi has experience in university teaching and legal research. She has taught courses such as "Economic Law" and "Corporate Compliance Management", and participated in course design, thesis guidance, case studies and legal professional training. His research has long focused on the obligations of private equity fund managers, investor protection, cross-border investment system convergence, corporate compliance and the construction of the rule of law in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
