Lawyer Lin Zhuoqin obtained a bachelor's degree in commerce from Monash University in 2010 (majoring in commercial law and econometrics). Since then, Mr. Lam studied law and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2015. He completed the Professional Certificate in Laws (PCLL) course of the University of Hong Kong in 2017. After 2 years of internship, he was admitted as a lawyer of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2019 and officially practiced law.

Mr. Lin is currently an assistant lawyer at Tsang, Chan & Woo Solicitors & Notaries in Hong Kong (2020 to present). Mr. Lam has participated in the Duty Lawyer Program since 2019 to provide legal aid to disadvantaged groups. In terms of social duties, Mr. Lam has long been involved in public welfare legal services and legal talent cultivation. As a member of the organizing committee of the Hong Kong Law Society's Teen Talk "Teen Talk", Mr. Lam pays special attention to cultivating the legal awareness of the younger generation through youth legal education activities. He also serves as a member of the Talent Retention Working Group of the Hong Kong Law Society (2022 to present), actively promoting the retention of legal talents. In addition, Mr. Lam serves as a director and mentor of the Manchester Metropolitan University Hong Kong Alumni Association (2023 to present), actively promoting the cultivation of legal talents.

Mr. Lin has extensive experience in civil litigation, covering adverse possession, building management disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, trust matters, bankruptcy and liquidation, corporate legal affairs, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, defamation litigation, employment law cases, estate disputes, water seepage claims, employees' compensation claims and personal injury litigation.

He also practices family law and frequently represents clients at Family Court hearings, providing professional legal advice and services on matters such as ancillary relief arrangements, alimony payments during litigation, allocation of child custody, applications for permission to leave Hong Kong with children, and anti-domestic violence injunctions.

In terms of criminal defense, he regularly negotiates sentencing agreements for defendants to reduce their sentences, and represents clients in magistrates' courts at all levels to plead and defend.
